At BOBtutor, we believe giving is receiving. Through tutoring and fundraising, our non-profit organization provides educational support to people, families, and communities around the world. In return, we learn and grow through enriching experiences.
The English branch focuses on helping underprivileged students around the globe to improve their English fluency. We offer English tutoring to international students from kindergarten to 12th grade. Our fundraising classes, summer and winter camps help local students to improve reading comprehension and writing skills through fun activities and games. Currently, we have weekly programs in the following regions:
The Coding Branch strives to provide students with quality education in computer science and programming. We offer a variety of courses, camps, and programs from front-end web development to a deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming languages for elementary to high school students. We provide tutoring on the following courses:
The Math branch focuses on helping underprivileged students around the world improve their math knowledge. We teach a variety of topics from elementary school math up to high school calculus. We also hold a variety of camps throughout the year targeting specific concepts, such as Algebra or Geometry, which help enhance your child’s understanding of the material while also raising funds to support underprivileged students around the world. The Science branch helps provide students from around the world with targeted tutoring on a variety of science topics, from animals and biology to high school chemistry and physics. The Science branch mostly offers targeted tutoring on specific subjects for all of their students and will offer various competitions throughout the year for students to show off their knowledge through science fairs, science competitions, etc. Finally, the Science branch does outreach in the following countries:
The Music program provides tutoring to students and introduces them to different instruments. The Art program focuses on helping students learn how to draw, paint, sketch, and various art mediums. We offer year round classes and summer/winter art camps as well as talent shows.
We provide tutoring on the following courses:
The South Africa Tshepang Care Center has a staff of around only 10 people who look after over 600 orphans and vulnerable children. Without the help of the care center, the children would not even have access to a decent meal. They do not have the resources for an education. We are working with the care center to provide financial support and online tutoring for its children.
