BOBTutor Semester Update + Announcements

As we bid farewell to winter break, the educational branches at BobTutor are full of excitement as they embark on the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Let's explore the updates from each branch as well as the upcoming events and achievements. 

Math:

The math branch has kicked off its second-semester classes for the algebra program, spanning from January 7th to March 31st, 2024. Simultaneously, local 1-on-1 classes have transitioned into the second semester, which has the same schedule as the algebra program. Mark your calendars because BobTutor is preparing for a thrilling math competition scheduled for April, during our spring break.

Coding:

As the first semester of coding classes draws to a close, anticipation builds for the start of second-semester coding classes in February. In addition, the coding branch is planning a spring/summer camp set to kick off in March, providing students with an immersive and hands-on coding experience. 

English:

The English branch is fostering creativity and competition with a Lesson Plan Competition for tutors, offering a $50 prize for the winner. The competition hopes to bring out the best in our tutors, providing a platform to showcase innovative and effective teaching methods. Looking ahead, there will be a summer camp for English classes, promising an enriching and engaging learning experience.

Art + Music:

The art and music branch recently wrapped up a successful winter talent show, showcasing the diverse and impressive talents of BobTutor's artistic community. Now, with the start of the spring semester, there will be plans for another talent show. The creative energy continues to flow, promising a showcase of artistic brilliance.
